EuroSchool subscribes to a Balanced Schooling curriculum model to provide a holistic primary and secondary education to the child in a conducive learning environment. These school teaching methods aim at creating confident and responsible individuals through a combination of Academics and Co- Curricular activities.

LRPA forms the crux of our teaching methodology at EuroSchool; where students Learn – Reinforce – Practice – Apply knowledge, concepts and skills. LRPA is a practice that is followed across ICSE and CBSE teaching methods at school. Educational innovation is seen in the non-Academic clubs where students are propelled on a voyage of self-discovery. Learning Reinforcement Practice Application - EuroSchool LRPA model

EuroSchool EDUCATORS

Our primary and secondary school teachers work closely with students to impart ICSE and CBSE school curriculum through a robust syllabus structure. They are more like mentors to young students and are ever present to guide them in their formative years.

CEREBRUM – EuroSchool R&D Wing

CEREBRUM is the Academic Research and Development Wing at EuroSchool. It is the centre for innovation in education and is responsible for the academic and non-academic initiatives in all the ICSE and CBSE board EuroSchools. It comprises a team of highly motivated and experienced experts who ideate, conceptualize and implement innovative ideas in the education system at the schools. Cerebrum can boast of its proud pedigree of academicians and its current team has teaching experience that includes not only State Board, ICSE and CBSE but also Cambridge International and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. The main aim of the team is to make the educational experience at EuroSchool contemporary and unique thereby making EuroSchool one of the topmost schools in the country for ICSE and CBSE curricular syllabus.

The EuroSchool curriculum and pedagogy is also aligned with the Bloom’s taxonomy of learning which is reflected through classroom activity, extracurricular activities, follow up work, review questions and assessments. The underpinning philosophy of the curriculum design at EuroSchool is the five E’s: Engage, Explore, Experience, Empower and Empathy.

ACADEMICS – ICSE and CBSE BOARD CURRICULUM

EuroSchool offers curriculum in accordance with the ICSE and CBSE board syllabus at individual schools and select EuroSchools also offer the CAIE, Cambridge Assessment International Education (IGCSE). The Academic module for EuroSchool puts focus on interactive leaning in the primary and secondary school curriculum models. Using technology as a key enabler for learning, our classroom teaching is augmented with Computer labs, science labs and the Smart Class system that uses 3D animation and multimedia to augment teaching outcomes.

Our school syllabus is oriented towards creating competent global citizens, where equal importance is given to academic education and extra-curricular activities in school. We put focus on current international best practices with special emphasis on the way knowledge is imparted. We have specialised programs for fine arts, school sports and other co-curricular activities.

Using Pupils Performance Standards with Weekly lesson plans, learning is structured based on 70 specific skills and techniques laid down for English, Mathematics, Physical Science, Social Science, Environmental Education and Information and Communication Technology.

The Astronomy Club aims to introduce and familiarise students to the celestial world.The purpose of this club is to increase the student’s awareness of the cosmos through observation of outer space. Students get an introduction to famous astronauts, the Zodiac Signs and the 12 constellations. They learn about the solar system, asteroids, meteors, meteorites, comets and phases of the moon. They get the opportunity to discover the space shuttle and its various parts and the astronaut suit with the help of videos.

HISTORY & HERITAGE

The History and Heritage Club aims to learn about the local history and heritage of a specific region. Every area, city, state and country is characterised by events and personalities that helped shape it. Understanding the local flavours, traditions, people, the way of living, landmarks and monuments form a part of this club. This club enables students to gain awareness about places that they interact with while learning about the historical and cultural importance.

NUTRITIONAL SCIENCE

Revisiting the food pyramid is essential for students as they familiarise themselves with the different food categories and different types of nutrients like carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins and minerals. Students learn to make simple dishes like salads, healthy juices, sandwiches, etc. and in turn determine the nutritive value of all the recipes after making it. As a broader dimension to the scope of the club, important aspects like good eating habits, table manners and a daily routine of exercise, water and sleep are also tackled.

MODEL UNITED NATIONS

The MUN Club is intended to help students become great thinkers and speakers. As finding solutions to global problems and crises is of paramount importance the club helps students learn, understand and appreciate the history, activity and impact of the UN. MUN students analyse world events and the effectiveness of the UN in meeting those challenges. At MUN conferences, students conduct and participate in mock assemblies, representing various countries by discussing pressing issues in select assemblies like ECOSOC, DISEC, Human Rights, etc.

ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Environment and Sustainable Development Club makes students aware of issues related to the environment like the carbon footprint left behind on the planet, climate change and the impact of humans on biodiversity locales. Sensitising students to the actions of humans on the environment and then leading them towards practical and possible solutions is part of this club.

ROBOTICS

The Robotics Club offers students the opportunity to work with AI technologies and innovations. Students are introduced to the basics of robotics and its application in various fields. The robotics kits allow students to assemble numerous 3D models including vehicles of different types. Students are introduced to various tools and programming language CIMPLE to increase the efficiency of creating automation and intelligent machines.

60 Hour TTP
