Not just cultural exposure, but a strong sense of community building is also essential for students. So that they develop qualities like good character, citizenship, fairness, concern for others and personal responsibility. Global programmes like ISA, EUMIND and IAYP offer EuroSchool students the opportunity to contribute towards community building.
We believe children can only grow and achieve educational excellence within a healthy and safe environment. Aptly, EuroSchool has advanced security procedures which make students feel safe and succeed academically, emotionally and socially. Our Weight Loss Programme aims at minimizing the weight of the school bags and the Safe School initiative aims at creating a safe environment for children.
A strong sense of community building can only come with the help of right traits of team work, mutual respect, communication and stress management. The EuroSchool curriculum includes opportunities & activities that help students develop life skills for facing the challenges of everyday life with a positive attitude. And sport is an active part of it. Learning, practicing and mastering the basic skills of sport is one of the foundations of coaching, sports performance and athletic training provided at EuroSchool.

Through our Science Quizzes, Math Club competitions, Spelling Bees, Hues, The Debate and Omaggio, we offer students enough avenues for gaining substantial experience, skills & talent, analyzing & evaluating outcomes, and discovering personal aptitude.

Our teachers work closely with students to foster synergy and equanimity. They are more like mentors who guide students in their formative years. As life-long learners, teachers have to reinvent themselves professionally and personally continually. To teach the 21st-century student, teachers have to become 21st-century learners themselves. They can do so through the following programmes:-
60 Hour Teacher Taining Programme is an on-going professional development initiative which ensures that every teacher has gained 60 hours of training during the academic year. The programme is categorised into 6 core components which are: Academic Competencies, Academic & Administrative Processes, EuroSchool Fit, Classroom Management, Communication and Leadership Skills.

Priyanka Mehta is Coordinator for Preprimary and Grades 1 and 2. She is a master’s degree holder in the field of Computer Applications and worked as a computer engineer for some time. However her desire for teaching drove her to quit corporate life and she started teaching to help build a better future from the classroom.
Priyanka’s approach to work is exemplary. She has been on the team for 7 years now. During this tenure she has shown tremendous commitment towards her responsibilities, which led her to the role of coordinator from teacher. The most fascinating quality about her is that she believes one must be a student to become a better teacher as it is said, “I'm a teacher as long as I am a student.”
The following words act as a guiding force for the entire team.
According to the Senior Coordinator Ms Renuka Chander, the purpose of education is to encourage, nurture and refine talent and capabilities of the students as well as instill in them the desire to dream and commit themselves to their dreams and believe that failure is merely a short - lived turbulence in the voyage of life on which one must sail on!!
Her team of mentors believes in developing innate potential of the students by providing them plenitude of opportunities to grow and excel. The classrooms are learning hubs and her children are inquisitive and equipped. “Life begins with one step outside of your comfort zone,” the teachers aspires to create a symphony in the hearts of its young pupils, such that it exudes pure music and propels them to the exalted position that is the beginning of a wonderful dream.
With the fervent hope, that each child realize his destined goal. She wishes the team to deliver unmatched balanced education to the children. And never forget that they are mere guiding lights to the children on their path to success.
“If Students do not learn the way you teach, maybe you should teach the way they learn”. The child learns best when he/she is encouraged to ask questions, to experiment and to explore new vistas. A teacher is a facilitator who assists the child in his quest of learning.
Ms. Swapnal Sarangarajan is our Senior Coordinator for Grades 6 to 10. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and the Cambridge International Diploma in Teacher’s Training. Her work experience includes working with ‘Vibgyor Group of Institutions’ as Head of Department-English. He loves working with the young and old, improving their lives through sports.
Deepika is Coordinator- Performing Arts and Clubs at EuroSchool Whitefield. She has been a valuable member of the team for 6 years now. Drama has always been her passion and has helped her discover her soul. She strongly believes that performing arts can help students become tenacious, team–oriented, problem–solvers, who are confident and able to think creatively. As said by Charles Kuralt – Good teachers know how to bring out the best in students. She believes in this and lives by it. She thinks children need an outlet to express their creativity and making that happen for them through performing arts has been rewarding in so many ways. Seeing students gain confidence, the energy it provides them and the positivity it brings in them gives her true joy! She loves seeing the smiles on students’ faces. It also breaks down some of the traditional teacher- student barriers. There is never a dull moment in her days and she loves doing what she does at EuroSchool Whitefield!
Sunayana is the Middle School Lead. She is a teacher who firmly believes in the concept of leading by example; and that this is one of the best ways to teach – and learn. As Aristotle so aptly said, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” In today’s day and age, where a mere degree does not guarantee a secure future, educators can make a world of a difference in molding young minds. That is the role she strives to perform, both as a teacher and a mentor. Being in this field for five years now, she enjoys teaching and creating a sense of bonding with the students.
Our teachers work closely with students to foster synergy and equanimity. They are more like mentors to young students and are ever present to guide them in their formative years.
In pursuit of becoming inspirational, EuroSchool teachers are motivated to reflect on their teaching experiences, read about advancements in their respective subject areas and participate in enriching workshops.
As life-long learners, teachers have to constantly reinvent themselves professionally and personally. To teach the 21st century student, teachers have to become 21st century learners themselves.
60 Hour Teacher Taining Programme is an on-going professional development initiative which ensures that every teacher has gained 60 hours of training during the academic year.
