Candida Grace Dsilva is the HoD of Science at EuroSchool Bannerghatta, Bangalore. She also excels as a Biology teacher and participates as a CBSE exam evaluator She is well qualified with multiple graduate and post-graduate degrees including a B.Sc., B.Ed. (Biology and Chemistry), M.Sc (Micro-Biology) and M.A. in Education. Candida started her career at a multinational company (Beckman Coulter/ReaMetrix), where she held the position of Lead Scientist-Manufacturing Coordinator overseeing a team of 20 Scientists. Her passion for teaching made her make the move from industry to education. Prior to joining Euroschool she worked at NPS school, Bangalore.
She has published papers on social and educational topics and her work has been presented at the international seminar on the NEP NAMODI framework. Her Scientific work in industry on the development of a malaria rapid diagnostic tests was presented at ISHTM-GOLDCON 2009 at AIIMS, Delhi. Candida’s philosophy of making Science simple and easy to understand translates to her commitment of encouraging students to develop interest in Science and scientific research.
